I've nearly tried it all when it comes to publishing. I've been a reporter, an editor, a writer, a graphic designer, an art director, a photographer, a prop stylist, and a blogger. I relish all the roles I've played, but I'm most passionate about design.

My six-year career as a magazine designer abruptly stalled with a round of layoffs in 2008. Instead of hunting for the next magazine to add to my résumé, I decided to pursue my newfound hobby-cum passion: website design.

From the moment I started writing HTML, I felt at home. I enjoy hand writing code as much as I do any part of the design process. And I'm like a kid in a candy store when I play with Adobe Flash. So now I'm designing websites in addition to my other obsession (crafting and writing on my blog Craftynest) and enjoying every minute of it.
